I enjoy working on new challenges from the ground up and helping others envision how their companies can evolve. My experience as a biotech founder and entrepreneur spans across disciplines, such as precision medicine, synthetic biology, gene editing, gene therapy, antibacterials and the microbiome. I started DGO Strategy to work with leaders, founders, and innovators from companies of all sizes and focus areas - especially those building here in North Carolina.
My current and previous roles include co-founder and CSO of Locus Biosciences (venture-backed phage therapy company with over $150m raised), scientific advisor for Inceptor Bio and Kineticos Ventures, founder-/entrepreneur-in-residence for the Council for Economic Development (CED) and UCSF, and management consulting at McKinsey. I hold my PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, where I pioneered gene editing technologies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
